Backyard Parties: Noah’s 5th Birthday Bash!
Author: Chelsea Head
Over at Greenhouse Picker Sisters, you all know that we love a good party! Any excuse to have good food, hang out with friends and family, and to celebrate one another, we are all in! Since it's summer and the nights are long, we love a good backyard party. Recently we celebrated Holly's youngest, Noah, as he turned 5 years old. He wanted a Finding Dory party with all of his friends and we jumped at the chance to throw him a party he wouldn't forget!
Before and After pictures of Holly's backyard! We used our Reed Benches and market lights to create a fun outdoor movie theater. We grabbed our projector, a few decorations of stuffed animals from Noah, Ashton, and Mia and we were all set! If you don't have a projector screen, a sheet or large blank wall works just as well!
To create the feeling of a concession stand, we used our Shiplap Wall with two of our Round Farm Tables. We picked up some fun tiered stands to hold all of the goodies! Candy galore, popcorn, cupcakes, and an ocean themed cake from Baked by Billie were enjoyed by all!
On the Shiplap Wall, we hung a net over the top and hung pictures of Noah through the years to create a fun photo spot! Two White Umbrellas added a touch of shade to complete the look. Most of the small decor items were picked up from stores such as Walmart and the Dollar Tree, which makes party planning so easy!
The adults had their party food and drinks inside from our own mom Pam Denney! She never disappoints with her charcuterie boards and she always outdoes herself!
Everyone had such an amazing time and Noah was thrilled with his ocean themed birthday party! Anytime you gather friends and family, you're sure to have a great time! We hope you throw some awesome backyard parties this summer and tag us on Instagram! We'd love to see all of your ideas for a great bash!
